• Objectives
  This one-year, two-semester program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills required to assist Registered Veterinary Technicians/Technologists and Veterinarians in the practice of veterinary science, as well as, work within other applied animal sciences such as grooming establishments, pet shops and shelters. Students learn a variety of basic laboratory techniques to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of domestic animals, as well as, clerical and supporting skills required in an animal facility.
• Practical experience
  Time is also spent at a local OSPCA for hands-on experience, and two field placements are also provided.
