Introduction to Production and Design I

This course is an introduction to some of the basic elements of theatrical production and design. It will develop skills in scenic painting, properties, carpentry, and theatrical rigging. Students will be exposed to a wide range of theatrical materials and techniques, as well as background information on design, staging and working in technical theatre.
