      Seneca offers more than an education. With campuses throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Seneca’s size and diversity give students the advantage of partnerships with industry leaders, the latest in hands-on computer technology, a variety of class sizes, and full-time, part-time and continuing education options. Education should be flexible and accessible, so Seneca also employs various methods of teaching – from in-class lectures and online learning to co-op and field placements – in programs related to applied arts, business, financial services, and technology.

Co-operative programs give Seneca students the opportunity to integrate their college education with real world experience before graduation.

      Many programs offer co-op options. Some programs include a mandatory co-op period prior to graduation, and every Seneca program is designed and kept current with the assistance of academic advisory committees. These committees, made up of key industry members, ensure students receive the education necessary for career success by ensuring they provide students with the necessary skill requirements of the current economy.

      Seneca also assists learners by providing the support they need to succeed. This includes academic and emotional support through counselling, learning centres, disability and health services.

      Seneca offers diverse fields of study, including biotechnology, business, computer studies and health sciences. Among the programs at Seneca to receive national and international acclaim are finance, aviation, early childhood education, electronic engineering, fashion, fire protection, international business and marketing, legal studies, and 3D digital animation.

      In addition to leading edge diploma and graduate certificate programs, Seneca offers more than 50 articulated agreements with post-secondary institutions in Canada and around the world. Seneca’s own bachelor degrees combine practical hands-on experience with a solid theoretical foundation and include a co-op component to ensure students get paid work experience before graduation.

      Since 1967, Seneca has provided a foundation of success for such notable alumni as Andrew Crow, winner of the prestigious Premier’s Award for discovering a new treatment for a potentially life threatening disease; Beverly Thomson, Canada AM host and media personality; and Giovanni Nakpil, a 3D Modeler who has worked on such blockbuster movies as the latest Pirates of the Caribbean sequels and the final installment of the Star Wars saga.

      Seneca provides internationally and nationally recognized career education and training key to graduate success in the global economy.

      With the largest enrolment of international students attending college in Canada, and more than 90 countries represented in Seneca’s student population, the college embodies the diverse cultural mosaic of Toronto.

      Seneca’s strong international reputation has attracted the attention of educational institutions worldwide, resulting in agreements to utilize Seneca curricula in classrooms throughout North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and China.

      Joint programs and transfer agreements with universities and other colleges in Canada and around the world provide the opportunity for students to earn both a diploma and a degree.

CAMPUS LOCATIONS:

      Seneca has campuses throughout the Toronto, Greater Metro Toronto Area and York Region. Students may choose to live off campus or in the apartment-style residences at Newnham and King Campuses which accommodate a total of 1,346. Housing Services assists students in finding accommodations near all campuses.
