Objectives
The focus of this program is on developing your communication and leadership abilities, as well as your skills to plan and conduct effective recreation and leisure services for a variety of people in different settings. A newly revised curriculum reflects current recreational focus on wellness, culture and heritage. You will work closely with faculty to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to develop stimulating and satisfying recreational programs.

Practical experience
Classroom learning is reinforced with over 1,000 hours of practical experience throughout the program. This includes specialized, intensive workshops, as well as field placement experiences in community agencies in both the first and second years.
