Objectives
This program provides the skills and advanced training necessary to qualify for an administrative support position in the legal field. It prepares you to work in a law firm or corporate legal department. Among the specialized areas covered are preparation of legal documents, legal terminology and procedures in legal offices. Emphasis is on computer-generated document production and word processing. You will concentrate on advanced legal office procedures and the preparation of legal documents using word processing and specialized legal office software.

* Students will be placed in the appropriate English level based on skills assessment results.
1. The prerequisites for entrance to the fourth semester work placement course (OAGN-262) are:
o students must have passed 14 of 16 courses in the first three semesters
o students must have a minimum C grade in each of the following: COMM-170/171, OALE-219, OALE-249 and OALE-250.
2. Minimum keyboarding speed of 40 wpm required to graduate.
