Course description
This training was originally developed by the BC Safety Council. This course introduces techniques needed for braking, cornering, turning and collision avoidance in the real world. It provides novice riders with an opportunity to develop and improve practical riding skills through classroom based presentations and hands on training in a controlled (off-road) environment (max. of 5 students per instructor).
Our qualified instructors focus on improving the rider’s confidence. The course will also focus on:
motorcycle and traffic safety issues and challenges, traffic rules and regulations, defensive riding tactics, effective steering, basic balance and braking, higher speed steering, emergency techniques, street and highway riding strategies, and the ICBC motorcycle skills assessment test.
All students must attend a 2.5 hour introduction session prior to the start of the Motorcycle Skills Course.
