Objectives
The Automotive Service and Repair Program is designed to give students a firm background in the fundamental areas of the automotive transportation service industry. Students are involved in maintaining and repairing various vehicle systems such as electrical/electronics, fuels, brakes, gear trains steering and suspension on motor vehicles and light trucks. Support topics covering various ancillary courses such as Exploring Human Diversity, and Communication Strategies, are an integral part of the first semester.

Practical experience
Hands-on, real work experience is an integral component of the program. The supporting technical and academic studies provide students with an opportunity to cope with rapidly changing technology. The program conforms to and parallels industrial practices and standards, equipping graduates with the skills to meet the demands of today’s job market and the challenges of tomorrow.
