Objectives
Instrumentation measurement and control principles, as applied to pneumatic, electronic and fieldbus based instruments, will be studied providing the student with a sound background in process automation.

Practical experience
Practical experience will be gained in a modern, well-equipped laboratory designed to emulate common control systems found in the industry. This lab features functioning processes employing pneumatic as well as modern microprocessor based electronic control equipment such as PLC’s, Distributed Control Systems, and field networks.
