The Plumber Foundations program provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to pursue a career as a plumber. Students receive intensive training in major components of the plumbing field including mathematics, tools, equipment and installation. They learn to read blueprints, layout, measure, install and connect copper, steel and plastic pipes, and use various plumbing tools. The main focus is on the competencies that are common to the plumbing and piping trades.
