Diploma in Health Care Assistant Advanced Practice
The Health Care Assistant Advanced Practice program at Vancouver Career College will give you the skills and knowledge you need to pursue a career in the ever-growing healthcare field. You’ll receive specialized training in care for the elderly, disabled and mentally ill, allowing you to find positions in home care, residential care, special needs classrooms, mental health facilities and more. Get on-the-job training before graduation too with several practicum placements.
Graduates will not only receive the Health Care Assistant Advanced Practice diploma, but also a Standard First Aid Certificate, a CPR “C” Certificate, a WHMIS Certificate, and a Food Safe Level 1 Certificate.
