Have you already obtained your Early Childhood Education diploma? Would you like to expand your role and an educator? The Early Childhood Education Infant, Toddler and Special Needs program is a perfect opportunity to specialize your training and expand your career opportunities.
During the program, you will study child growth and development, program planning, health, safety and nutrition. You will focus on developing the specific skills required to work with infants, toddlers and children living with special needs. In addition, you will learn administration skills for child care centers, including financial management, philosophy, policy design and organizational structure.
In order to enroll in the ECE Infant/Toddler and Special Needs program, you must be a certified Early Childhood Educator or in the process of completing the required 500 hours of work experience to enroll in this program. Career opportunities include day care supervisor, day care worker, childcare worker, pre-school teacher and ECE supervisor.
