Objectives
The Community Social Service Worker (CSSW) program is designed to prepare new professionals for work in the field of social services.

Practical experience
The program includes both classroom-based studies and field-related work (practicum) at social service agencies. A practicum involves placement in a community social service agency with an opportunity to practice skills learned in the program. The certificate program has two practicums, one in the second semester and one in the third.
