Objectives
This program combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience in the college’s state-of-the-art media studios. In two years, you will gain the essential skills needed for a career in new media. The Broadcasting-Radio program is designed to prepare you for a variety of roles in the media industry including radio announcer, operator, interviewer, production coordinator, copywriter, music programmer, promotion assistant or broadcast sales representative.

Practical experience
Canadore’s radio station is a key learning tool where students gain valuable working knowledge of systems and processes. Students are responsible for staffing and operating the station seven days a week, performing and developing the skills associated with on-air and off-air positions.
