Objectives
Management Information Systems (mis) are integrated, computer-based systems that provide information to support management and operations of an organization; they are application of information technology to business problems. Students gain knowledge of recent developments in information and communication technologies which help companies improve their organizational performance. They learn how to analyse the information needs of various user departments within an organization, using Internet technologies to create media-rich collaboration environments among company employees, customers and suppliers. They also learn how to design and implement information systems to support business processes, integrate information systems within the organization, and support its core competencies.
