Objectives
The Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy (BAET) is a four year degree program aimed at the prevention, immediate care, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, and the prevention and management of hypokinetic diseases. The BAET program is both innovative and unique, combining two traditionally exclusive disciplines: athletic therapy and exercise therapy into one comprehensive curriculum. Through extensive clinical and fieldwork experiences, you'll gain the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and prerequisites necessary to seek designation as Certified Exercise Physiologist™ with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP). We are seeking accreditation from the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) to provide you with the opportunity to become Certified Athletic Therapists.
