Honours in Classical Languages and Literature — 60 credits
* 9 credits in Greek Literature, Roman Literature, the Heroic Epics of Greece and Rome or Greek Drama
* 6 credits in the Fundamentals of Greek or Latin Grammar
* 6 credits in readings from Greek or Latin prose and poetry at the introductory level
* 3 credits in Greek or Roman political, social, economic and cultural history
* 3 credits in Greek Mythology or Mythology of the Mediterranean Area
* 3 credits in Greek or Roman Art and Archaeology
* 6 credits in Honours Seminar and Thesis
* 6 credits in the Fundamentals of Greek or Latin Grammar
* 6 credits in readings from Greek or Latin Prose and Poetry at the intermediate level
* 6 credits in readings from Greek or Latin Prose and Poetry at the advanced level
* 6 credits in Sanskrit or Comparative Indo‑European Linguistics or other Linguistics courses chosen in consultation with the department
* 30 elective credits in any department
Major in Classical Languages and Literature — 42 credits
* 9 credits in Greek Literature, Roman Literature, the Heroic Epics of Greece and Rome or Greek Drama
* 3 credits in Greek or Roman political, social, economic and cultural history
* 3 credits in Greek Mythology or Mythology of the Mediterranean Area
* 3 credits in Greek or Roman Art and Archaeology
* 6 credits in the Fundamentals of Greek or Latin Grammar
