ObjectivesThis program prepares students for exciting careers in the growing field of web design and development by focusing on skills in programming as well as visual design, project management, and communications for new media. Students work with the latest web technologies such as PHP, ASP, SQL, XML, Javascript, XHTML and applications such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Practical experienceThe field placement component offers students the opportunity to connect with web developers working within the profession and provides students with exposure to current industry practices and trends.
