Description: This course will provide the student with an understanding of the business analysis process and its importance to optimizing resources, delivering products or services, and achieving strategic business results. The course will explore the progression from strategic planning through to project objectives and requirements. Specific business analysis and requirements gathering methods and their importance within the project scope management will be reviewed during the course.

Description: Providing a broad survey of leadership theories, this course focuses on the application of leadership principles to the management of projects. MGMT1580 Managing the Project-Business Relationship
Description: A key stakeholder in most projects is the sponsoring business unit. In particular, the Project Sponsor is a key project role that is often misunderstood both by the Project Sponsor him/herself and the project team. The content of this course will include a review of the sponsors' responsibilities, information needs and approaches to managing this important relationship. Also included will be a thorough review of the sponsor's need for project financial information and the approaches for maintaining and communicating this information.

Description: This course will examine a number of cases that will highlight important project management issues in a variety of business settings.
