Course description
MacEwan's Public Relations career diploma program is a unique opportunity for people with previous post-secondary education to ready themselves for an exciting new career in less than a year. It is unique because we add your previous education (minimum 30 credits of any degree or diploma) to the 35 credits comprising the program, giving you a 65-credit, Alberta Advanced Education and Technology-designated diploma.
It has developed an excellent reputation with organizations looking for professional communicators - organizations ranging from small non-profits to huge conglomerates. More than 90 per cent of program graduates become gainfully employed in the public relations field within one year. The reason for the program's success is simple: its focus on training students to be functional entry-level practitioners the minute they leave the program.
