Power Engineering Technician Ontario College Diploma
ObjectivesWithin this program, you will be introduced to all aspects of power plant operation. Emphasis is placed on personal and workplace safety. You will study in depth power boiler systems and operations, operation of electrical equipment, heating and refrigeration systems and instrumentation and controls necessary to keep the equipment operational.
Practical experienceThe hands-on practical classes in this program reinforce the learner’s understanding by supporting the theoretical classroom-based components.
