ObjectivesIn the Office Administration program, we offer you the opportunity to develop your administrative and leadership skills, to work with the latest computer technology, to interact with a close-knit community of students and faculty at an exciting campus, and to prepare yourself for career opportunities worldwide. Beyond the entry-level office skills training received in the first two semesters of the program, you will be trained at an advanced level in software applications, as well as being provided with the tools for problem-solving and critical and creative thinking. This program will also offer electives in the fields of legal office administration and medical office administration. Interpersonal skills, human relations skills, and customer service are emphasized to meet the requirements in business, legal, and/or medical environments.
Practical experienceThere is a field placement aspect to this program.

Note: Graduates of the Office Administration program enrolling in the Law Clerk program will be granted transfer credits for BCL 130, CGE 125, OAD 107, BCL 131, ACC 262, and CMM 180. Those Office Administration students who took the legal electives will also receive transfer credits for OAD 224.
The first year of all Office Administration programs is delivered in an accelerated format. With the accelerated format, you will spend 35 hours a week in class for a period of 15 weeks in order to complete the first two semesters. The second year of the Office Administration program continues in a traditional semester format.
