ObjectivesOffice Administration - General focuses on the complete range of administrative support skills needed to succeed in today's office environment. You will not only sharpen your hands-on skills in areas such as word processing, microcomputers and transcription, but you will also develop polished communication and human relations expertise. This foundation program provides training for entry into a variety of administrative assistant positions. You will acquire basic skills in document production, office procedures, microcomputer applications and word processing.

1. To be considered for transfer to the Office Administration Medical (2603) or Legal (2602) diploma program, the student must successfully complete OAGN-127 Machine Transcription.
2. Students require an overall minimum GPA of 2.0 and a minimum keyboarding speed of 30 wpm to graduate from the program.
