Motive Power Techniques: Heavy Equipment Ontario College Certificate
ObjectivesAlthough heavy equipment oriented, this program prepares students for a diverse number of career opportunities in a variety of mechanical fields. Students are involved in maintaining, operating, and repairing on and off-road heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, skidders, trucks and tractors.
Practical experienceThere is a field placement component associated with this program.
Entry requirementsThose wishing to enter the Motor Vehicle, Truck/Coach or Farm Mechanic Trade would also benefit from this program.
