ObjectivesFine Arts Studio is an atelier-styled, intensive and highly focused program emphasizing contemporary figurative and objective drawing, painting and 3D modeling skills developed on the foundation of both classical and modernist aesthetics. Students undergo a progressive and articulated learning experience in a curriculum designed to optimize the development of drawing, painting, modeling skills and techniques. Studio assignments include working from the figure, still life, interior and exterior compositions with extensive focus on anatomy, perspective, contemporary painting techniques, colour theory and application. Courses include a thematic approach to art history, portfolio presentation and protocol for the business of art, a course in contemporary issues, English language and literature.
