ObjectivesThe Environmental Technician program at Confederation College trains graduates in a multi-faceted approach to understanding how to effectively manage the environment, both natural and man-made. Graduates of this program are able to communicate and work co-operatively with those from other sectors & disciplines. Our graduates have had a chance to explore difficult environmental issues as well as to learn hands-on tools for assessing ecosystems. The curriculum for the Environmental Technician program was developed in consultation with representatives from industry and agencies based on current practices, our own experience in the field as well as anticipated needs and technological advances, and is updated regularly. Our graduates will have the expertise to confidently and competently compete for environmental career opportunities both locally, provincially, nationally and globally.
