ObjectivesCourses are designed around current research on emergent curriculum and brain development, enabling you to develop the skills and insights needed to support children and their families. This program covers the entire spectrum of child development, including infants, toddlers, pre-school children and school-age children. Course content reflects current issues and research, enabling you to become a leader in the profession. The program also stresses active in-class participation. You will build resources to work with young children, observe and describe child development and design appropriate activities. You'll gain field experience with a variety of age groups.
