ObjectivesThis program differs significantly from traditional Mechanical Engineering in that you'll learn relevant up-to-date skills, with a special emphasis on the application of CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology, such as the microcomputer-based AutoCAD system. You'll learn the design, development, manufacture, marketing, operation and maintenance of machines and mechanical devices. You'll also be introduced to robots and automation.
