ObjectivesCanadore College’s Crime Scene Investigation certificate program prepares the graduate with skills to identify, collect and analyze physical evidence associated to scenes of crime. Students will enjoy a unique balance of classroom instruction, small group faculty directed labs and crime scene scenario practical sessions.

The program curriculum for the first semester is consistent with the requirements of the Approved Ministry Standards for Scenes of Crime Officers in the Province of Ontario.
Canadore College has constructed a 1400 sq. foot crime scene scenario area which is organized as a two bedroom apartment. This area is used for crime scene process instruction and student mock crime scene investigation.
