ObjectivesDesigned for students who wish to obtain their first experience of college life in a culturally-sensitive learning environment, this program develops the skills necessary for students to succeed in future postsecondary studies. The development of academic skills - particularly in the areas of research and study skills, communications, mathematics, and computer applications - is complemented by a variety of career exploration, personal management, and critical thinking activities. Upon successful completion of this program, students will have gained the self-confidence and academic skills necessary to pursue studies in the postsecondary program of their choice.
