Civil Engineering Technology Ontario College Advanced Diploma
ObjectivesThe field of Civil Engineering Technology plays a key role in the health, safety and economic well being of our communities. Graduates of our program participate in the design, construction and operation of water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment systems, road and railway systems, and buildings for residential, commercial and industrial uses. A qualified Civil Engineering Technologist will find employment opportunities in facility planning and design, cost estimating and control, and construction inspection and management for new capital projects. Once the construction is completed, technologists are responsible for the effective management of the finished product to ensure services to the public are reliable and maintained within tight budgets.
