  • Objectives The Manufacturing Technician program gives you the skills you’ll need to gain quality employment in a wide variety of manufacturing organizations. You’ll be trained to fill the emerging skill shortage needs in the manufacturing industry, with competence in plant operations, scheduling, inventory control, materials management, quality assurance, CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machine tool operations and programming, with emphases on machining and fabrication methods, design and documentation standards. You’ll be provided with a foundation in engineering science, and you’ll earn a working knowledge of manufacturing and production planning techniques.
