Certificate in Automotive Service Technician (Apprentice)
ObjectivesThis apprenticeship certificate program completes the in-school requirements for automotive service technician apprentices, as determined by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Apprentices, who are working in the automotive repair industry, continue their education in this program. The in-school portion of this apprenticeship program consists of three 8-week levels. During each level, students are offered instruction in subjects such as work practices, engine systems, electrical, electronics, emissions and fuels, drive train systems and suspension, and steering and brake systems.
