DRWG1110 Applying AutoCAD
Description: Recommended: AutoCAD Level II
This course is designed to give the experienced AutoCAD user a chance to examine applied drafting techniques and conventions. The content is based on both mechanical and architectural applications depending on the users' needs. Main topics covered include orthographic and axonometric projection sections, auxiliary views, proper dimensioning technique and standards, creating part (working) and assembly drawings. Topics also include basic system customization and other possible add-ons to enhance drawing productivity.

DRWG1120 AutoCAD Level I
Description: Recommended: Technical Background
This extensive hands-on course is designed for the person who has experience in technical drawing or blueprint reading, but has limited CAD skills. This is the core course for AutoCAD and a prerequisite for all other AutoCAD courses. Participants will learn how to create full 2D drawings using AutoCAD's drawing, editing, display, dimensioning and annotation commands. Topics also include drawing set-up and basic plotting techniques.

DRWG1130 AutoCAD Level II
Description: Recommended: AutoCAD Level I or equivalent knowledge.
This course builds on the concepts from AutoCAD Level I. It is an extensive hands-on course which investigates the advanced techniques of working in AutoCAD. Main areas of study are multiple view drawings, advanced dimensioning techniques, blocks with attribute definitions, external references, advanced drawing and editing tools, basic system customization, and an introduction to working in the 3D environment.

DRWG1140 AutoCAD 3D
Description: Recommended: AutoCAD Level II 90390002 This course introduces the experienced 2D AutoCAD user to the 3D modeling functions available in AutoCAD. Through extensive hands-on examples, participants will cover 3D modeling concepts involving wireframe, surface, and solids modeling. Other topics include extracting 2D drawings from 3D models, finding mass properties and creating photo realistic images.

DRWG1510 Introduction To AutoCAD
Description: Recommended: Microsoft Windows.
This is an introductory course that is designed to introduce AutoCAD to a participant who has no prior drafting experience. Topics will include basic drawing commands, editing, drawing to scale, basic display commands, text and dimensions, adding hatch patterns and creating symbols. These topics will be covered in a very general manner and the course is intended for the person who wants to know more about AutoCAD and the CAD field. Participants completing this introduction and wanting to pursue a more intensive course in AutoCAD can then take AutoCAD Level I.

DRWG1910 SolidWorks Level I Description: SolidWorks is a comprehensive 3D parametric solids based mechanical design package. This course will provide the participant with all the tools and skills needed to build part models, create fully detailed drawing views and construct assemblies. Topics also include finding basic elemental properties, managing design information and importing/exporting data to and from SolidWorks to other platforms.
