* Students will be placed in the appropriate English level based on skills assessment results. Students in two- or three-year programs must complete GNED-500 as part of their general education requirements.
** To qualify for work placement, you will need to complete employment pre-placement. The requirements are:
o completion of eight out of 10 courses in semesters 1 & 2
o a minimum C grade in ENGL-170/171
o a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
1. Students are strongly advised to complete GNED-147 Ethics in Business as one of their two General Educations.
2. Students interested in pursuing a professional designation in payroll from the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) should consult the Centennial College Continuing Education calendar for information on required courses and designation requirements. In addition to regular college tuition, students are required to become members of the CPA and are responsible for a course fee payable directly to the Canadian Payroll Association.
