ObjectivesThe marketing option develops business skills suitable for a variety of job opportunities in large and small businesses, not-for-profit organization, and government. The program provides a balance between marketing-specific subjects and those general business subjects required for success in all business positions today. Students develop a strong understanding of current business and marketing theories and practices. This foundation is enriched with a variety of "real-business" experiences in the classroom and in partnership with local businesses.
Practical experienceHands-on experience is provided through the execution of marketing research projects, discussion of current marketing cases, and partnerships with local businesses to develop marketing recommendations to achieve their business objectives.
