ObjectivesThe four-year on-site, full-time generic Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing Program is designed to provide the graduate with specialized knowledge and skills to provide safe, comprehensive holistic care to individuals, families, groups, and communities as context in a variety of mental health care settings. Each semester builds on foundation concepts and skills to prepare graduates to respond to the ever-changing health care needs of our society. The degree program also prepares graduates for leadership positions in the Psychiatric Nursing profession and offers additional career options.
