ObjectivesConcordia University's Department of Physics' mission is twofold: to provide our students with the general knowledge they need to develop an understanding and appreciation of physics, and to equip them with the specific skills that are necessary to flourish in a working environment. Many of our programs, such as Co-op and Physics and Marketing, are specifically oriented towards industry, with the possibility of supplementing classroom learning with valuable workplace experience.

* 45 required credits from the Core Program as described above 3 elective credits in either Solid State Physics or Nonlinear Dynamics/Chaos/Fractals
* 42 elective credits of which 24 must be in any other department, some of which may take the form of a Major or a Minor in some other discipline
