Course description20-credit BSc Major in Chemistry
The BSc Major (20 credit) program is accredited by the Canadian Society of Chemistry. Students who wish to obtain a BSc Major (20 credit) in Chemistry must complete the following classes:

• CHEM 2101.03
• CHEM 2201.03
• CHEM 2301.03
• CHEM 2304.03 or CHEM 2302.03

• CHEM 2402.03
• CHEM 3103.03
• CHEM 3203.03 or CHEM 3201.03
• CHEM 3601.03
• Any TWO of the following:

NOTE: CHEM 4901X and CHEM 4901Y must be taken together and cannot be taken in conjunction with CHEM 4801.03 or 4802.03
Plus 4 additional CHEM classes beyond 1000 level, only one of which can be 2000 level.
In addition to the chemistry requirements students in this program must also take:
• MATH 1000.03 and MATH 1010.03
• PHYC 1100.06 or PHYC 1300.06
• One additional credit in mathematics at the 2000 level or higher.
