  • Objectives Carleton’s Earth Sciences department offers a field-based comprehensive education that leads to exciting summer and full-time employment.
  • Practical experience The curriculum includes a strong hands-on component, with second-year field camps in Ontario (Kingston and north of Kaladar, Ontario), and a fourth-year trip to more exotic places to observe famous geological features at first hand (western Canada, western U.S.A., Hawaii, the Caribbean, Germany, Italy).
