ObjectivesThis unique, four-year laptop and coop program is committed to the development of capable, creative professionals ready to embark on action-oriented, multi-dimensional careers in private and public business. These organizations are placing ever-greater emphasis on the improvement of their supply chains using current business analysis methods and technology. This program is part of the mobile computing (laptop) initiative at Algonquin College, which will better prepare students for an increasingly technology-oriented workplace. DEFINITIONS e-Business - a series of electronic applications or tools applied to business and supply chain management functions and a strategic driver of new business. eSCM - represents a smooth combination of Supply Chain Management and e-Business technology. Supply Chain Management - Management of all supplier-customer relationships and related processes throughout a supply chain, both internal and external to an organization.
