ObjectivesStudying History develops skills that prepare you for work in a wide variety of fields, in any job that requires good critical thinking, analytical and communication skills. From library science, archival and museum work, law, journalism, policy development and analysis, teaching and research, to land claim research—where there is a need for access to historical records, you will find a historian. The Associate Degree program is designed to provide you with two years of full-time study in your chosen academic area. As you work through your studies, you’ll complete 20 courses, gaining an Associate of Arts Degree - History, and block transfer to third year History Studies at any BC university.
