ObjectivesThis three-year advanced diploma program trains students for careers in architects' offices and the building industry by integrating the relationship between conceptual solutions and working drawings. The Architectural Technology curriculum emphasizes an in-depth understanding of the many facets of building and construction. Some of these include: residential and commercial building envelope design, working drawings, construction documentation, construction methods and materials, 3D computer visualization applications, and a student directed team project aimed at resolving the many aspects encountered in designing a building, including aesthetic and technical resolution.
