ObjectivesThe Mechanical Engineering Bridge program, offered by Camosun with the full support and co-operation of the University of Victoria (UVic), provides access to the third year of Electrical Engineering for graduate Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technologists. You’ll study advanced topics that aren’t typically found in technology programs, and you’ll be able to continue your studies toward a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Mechanical Engineers design and build machines and other products, such as robots, spacecraft, automobiles, artificial limbs, amusement park rides, elevators, and manufacturing equipment. If something moves or uses energy, mechanical engineering was probably involved in its design or production.
