  • Objectives
    The Electrical Engineering Bridge Bridge for Mechanical Technologists (EE for Mech) program, offered by Camosun with the full support and co-operation of the University of Victoria (UVic), provides access to the third year of Electrical Engineering for graduate Mechanical Engineering Technologists. You’ll study advanced topics that aren’t typically found in technology programs, and you’ll be able to continue your studies toward a Bachelor of Engineering degree. As an electrical engineer, you'll be trained in designing, developing, operating, maintaining and researching power distribution systems, automotive systems, communications systems, medical systems and a huge variety of electricity-dependent products and systems, ranging from tiny consumer products to alternative energy sources to huge hydroelectric dams.

    *ELEX 214 and 216 are presented as two modules in sequence.

    You will take July and August off in the summer, and head to UVic in September. At UVic, you will need to take the following courses:

    STAT 260 Intro to Probability & Stats

    In January, you may now join Term A of Year 3 of the Electrical Engineering Program at UVic.
